Under the Table
Under the Table is a game about political corruption. You and your opponent play political leaders at a gala, and your goal is to collect as much from the attending elites as possible. While you do your shady dealings, journalists will chase after you and attempt to catch you red-handed. Avoid their cameras and shake hands with elites until you have enough money to buy your own election!

My Tasks
Game Design
The theme inspired our team to explore corruption. We first considered a border patrol-style bribe game, but it felt overdone. Instead, we reimagined it as fast-paced political corruption.

When we first heard the theme “If you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist” we immediately thought of hidden corruption and secrecy.

It sparked ideas around stealth and bribery, leading us to explore concepts like Papers, Please or Contraband Police—but we wanted something fresher.
That’s when we shifted toward political corruption, turning it into a competitive 1v1 experience that played like a chaotic Mario Party mini-game—fast, fun, and perfectly suited to our team’s strengths.
Integration
Our sound designer created the audio in FMOD, but lacked the knowledge to integrate it into Unity. I took the initiative to handle the entire integration process, ensuring everything worked smoothly in-game. The Best Audio award we received speaks for itself.
Fmod in Unity
For Under the Table, I handled sound integration using FMOD for Unity, despite having no prior experience with the tool. I created a reusable C# sound library that allowed other scripts to easily reference and trigger audio events, streamlining the overall implementation and improving workflow during the jam.
